Membership of the Association is open to anyone working
in the area of animal care, including Zoo Hospital Staff, Rural
Veterinary Technicians - in fact anyone interested in animal welfare.
Full Membership
Holds a formal veterinary nursing qualification recognised by the
NZVA ANTECH Board. E.g.:
 | National Certificate or Diploma in Veterinary Nursing |
| Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Massey) |
| Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (UCOL) |
| British Veterinary Nursing qualification |
| US Veterinary Technicians |
| Australian Veterinary Nurses |
Full members are entitled to vote on matters of importance and hold
Office within the Association.
Associate Membership
Is open to all persons not within the "Full Membership" category.
Associate members do not have voting rights and may not hold Office
within the Association.
Student Membership
Is available to persons undertaking a veterinary nursing or animal
care course, they pay a reduced membership fee and also reduced
Conference registration fees.
Overseas Membership
