OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

· Exceptional customer service skills – be able to WOW our fantastic clients
· High emotional intelligence and excellent time management skills
· Confident in all aspects of surgical and hospital nursing. Our nursing team are very proactive, taking the lead with taking bloods, x-rays, catheters, intubation, comprehensive anesthetic monitoring etc.
· Have excellent computer skills – experience with Vision would be an advantage
· Must be a NZ resident or have a current NZ Visa

This is a permanent part-time position, approx. 20 rostered hours per week Monday-Friday, with no weekend work.

Our practice is well equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, in-house laboratory equipment. Career progression is actively encouraged and supported with an attractive CPD allowance.

Due to a change in circumstance for 2 of our nurses, we are now looking for a full time and part time veterinary nurse to join our small animal team early 2019.

MVS Small Animals is a Best Practice accredited, well equipped clinic, providing excellent care and service to our clients and their pets. Our team of veterinary nurses share medical and surgical nursing duties, reception and customer care. We are open to discussions around a predominantly reception based role if needed. There will be an after hours component with both of these positions.
