About You:

  • You have a recognised Diploma in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • You are proficient in all-round clinical and surgical nursing with at least a year’s experience working as a vet nurse

  • You have computer skills and don’t mind learning new technology
  • You’re passionate about the veterinary industry and high standards of patient care
  • You can be flexible with hours of work to participate in our rosters that include some evenings, weekends and public holidays

VETERINARY NURSE - ROTORUA FIXED TERM CONTRACT

We are looking for an experienced and qualified veterinary nurse to join the team for approximately twelve months, covering the parental leave of one of our nurses. The position is full time and starts in January 2021. On-call duty is shared across the team on a one weekend in four basis, plus one weeknight each week.

Our team of 4 nurses enjoy a variety of tasks working on a week-about roster system: surgical nurse, hospital nurse and a consulting/wellness nurse. We provide a warm and friendly working environment, with modern facilities in a purpose built, well equipped BESTPractice accredited clinic and hospital.
