The Wellness Programme Coordinator is a new role responsible for the end-to-end management of our patient wellness programme, ‘PetFirst’. Reporting to the Companion Animal Business Manager, the role will drive the PetFirst programme throughout all VetEnt clinics with a key focus on developing and guiding our teams to achieve and maintain optimal performance whilst ensuring the delivery of exceptional client and patient care.
This is a full-time role (1 FTE) based in Te Awamutu and there is a requirement to travel given the nature of the role.
You will be responsible for prioritising and allocating resources to successfully achieve the programmes’ financial and strategic objectives.
Working alongside the clinic teams, you will facilitate the integration and implementation of the programme across all clinics to deliver on achieving excellent standards of care and customer satisfaction which mirrors VetEnt’s mission, values and high standards of care.

UCOL's Health and Science Faculty is seeking two professional Veterinary Nursing Lecturers to fill two permanent, part time (0.75 FTE, 30 hour per week) vacancies at the Palmerston North campus.
The successful candidates will hold a Level 6 Veterinary Nursing qualification and have a minimum of two years clinical small animal veterinary nursing experience. These candidates would be experienced and competent in all aspects of veterinary nursing including but not limited to anaesthesia, medical nursing, and surgical nursing; and may also include diagnostics, reception animal care and behaviour.
The successful candidates will also possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a vast range of people and possess excellent organisation skills. It would be a strong advantage if you have previous teaching experience and had completed the Certificate in Adult Teaching (Advanced) (CATA) or equivalent.
As Lecturers you are responsible for teaching and clinical supervision in this programme. You will be naturally inspiring, bringing a passion and love of this career path which will flow through your programme delivery and guidance within the class. In this role you will spend 2-5 days a week as a clinical supervisor at our associated veterinary clinics teaching and assessing students on their competency in their clinical skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm are key to clinical teaching. In order to deliver the best programme to your students you will be expected to use effective teaching skills that meet the needs of a variety of students. In addition there will be teaching clinical skills in simulated situations on campus.
