Project: One Welfare: Raising awareness in the veterinary profession of the links between animal abuse and family violence.

The study comprises two stages. Initially this anonymous online survey for practicing veterinary professionals. It is intended to gauge current knowledge and practices around the links between animal abuse and family violence. The results of the survey will inform stage two, the development of an educational workshop to raise awareness and to inform veterinary and animal welfare professionals in New Zealand about the links between animal abuse and family violence.
